While IRT is primarily used for patients with Type 2 Diabetes and related conditions, some adult patients with Type 1 Diabetes have experienced observational benefits, such as improved glucose control, blood pressure, renal function, and A1C levels. These cases are evaluated individually, and therapy is provided only when deemed clinically appropriate as a supportive adjunct—not a replacement for insulin or primary Type 1 treatment protocols.
